Machine for the calibration of the stones

  • This machine has been designed to handle precious stones and artificial stones such as the zirconium in order to measure them by means of a vision system and to sort them according to their size.
  • Stones are sorted and oriented into a bowl feeder.

  • They are placed into a glass rotary table which is continuously turning.

  • When the stones arrive under the cmaera, a cell activates the vision system in order to take an image of the stone.

  • This image is then analyzed by a computer in order to take various required measurements.

  • According to characteristics, the stones are ejected in the bin corresponding to the programmed values.
